Privacy

The short answer

The ZIP code and numbers you enter in the calculators stay in your browser: they are looked up in static files this site serves and are never sent to us or to anyone else. The site has no forms; page-view analytics are described below.

What the host sees

Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics and ads

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and traffic sources. It sets first-party cookies and sends page URLs and device data to Google; Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and the script does not load at all if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Calculator inputs are never sent.

Affiliate links

If affiliate links are enabled, clicking one takes you to the retailer, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. See the affiliate disclosure.
